3D Max - Things I've Made

within the first few weeks of my course we have learnt about the importance of 3D modelling and how use the software 3DMax/MaxDesgin. The 3D software we have used is quite overwhelming for any new starters who have never done 3D desgin before ,Which I have found but slowly getting to grips with the software as you can see in the first few weeks we have made the following.

Within this image you can see the 3DMax interface showing 3 screens and then the prospective view
wereas you can see what your creating the other screens show the Top view , Left view and also the front view these are all important to understand as its criticul that use dont use the perspective view as it can mess up your 3D desgin and make the items look out of place weeks 1-4 we learnt how the different tools work and now we can work indepentent on making our own Interier desgin's.

Week 2 - We used the Sphere tool to create two of the circles for the base and head of the snowman and then added to splines for the arms , I used the cone tool to create the carot look for the nose of the snowman and this was the outcome of the image animation.

Week 4 - We learnt how to create some interior desgin for possible use within the paradox production
to be revealed soon . As you can see we have created the essesntial items for the bedroom with products like a wardrobe and chesterdraws with a sate of the art bed and headrest ,within this task we used tools like Emboss and Exturde and bolean to create these item's.

Week 6 -

Within this week we have moved on to start making our village for our later animation for paradox 1915. Which I have found rather exciting as its a really creative software to create the following image I started by using the box tool to create the base of the house with a further box on top of the base to create a roof and pulled the box up to create the roof looking shape . Once I done this I could then start to add the window's and doors by using the cube tool and then bolean it out and emboss inwards to give it the window and door look . Once I was happy with the image I then started to add Textures by pressing (M key) and going into Maps ,diffuse coulor tick that box and then select the image file in my case BMP. and then select the area I wanted that texture to apprear on . This is the first villiage house I have created and this is the Outcome .
